For quite some time I've been using the perl2exe conversion tool for creating *.exe files from various perl scripts. The down side of using this are mainly the license and upgrade issues (re: I like free).
Enter 'pp'

Install Issues
Finish during clean up and don't forget the zip under \foca on the linux box!
